Limited Edition Solid Bronze Sculpture of
WWI ANZAC Digger by Internationally Acclaimed
Artist Alan Somerville of ANZAC Bridge Fame

Anzac Bridge World War I Digger by Alan Somerville"Lest We Forget" is a 30cm high hand cast, limited edition bronze statue created by internationally renowned Sydney based artist Alan Somerville, the New Zealand born artist behind many of Australias finest public sculptures. His WWI digger on ANZAC Bridge in Sydney is truly iconic and stands as a reminder to the sacrifice made by ordinary Australians at Gallipoli. It captures the legend that is ANZAC Cove.

As the generations roll by their deeds will not be forgotten. It is for those brave young men that gave their lives, the mothers who lost their sons and for their decendants who treasure their memories that Somerville has created this beautiful solid bronze sculpture.

We shall remember them.

They waited neither for orders nor for the boats to reach the beach, but, springing out into the sea, they waded ashore, and, forming some sort of rough line, rushed straight into the flashes of the enemies rifles. – Ellis Ashmead-Bartell, 8th May 1915
